This wood-burning stone look fireplace with chimney is larger than most DIY kits and includes everything you need to enjoy relaxing around the fire. While nothing extra is required, we offer upgrade options to take your Barrington kit to the next level.

Stainless Steel Spark Arrestor
Your safety is our top priority. Therefore, we include a spark arrestor with every kit. This addition will help prevent wildfires. It is much safer than a 100-plus pound stone found on other kits.
Large Hearth and Mantle Included for Safety
True, most outdoor fireplaces aren't subject to the same regulations as indoor fireplaces, nor can they be. Per best practices, we design all our fireplaces with a 16" hearth extension in case your local code requires it.

These are open on two sides to keep water, critters, and debris from staying in the corners. This open design makes cleaning a breeze.
Estate
Define your patio area while adding a touch of elegance with our seat wall Estate addition. This pair of seat walls adds a crucial seating and border wall to your fireplace. The end columns not only add class, but they function as small personal tables as well. They also are a great place to display garden urns or small sculptures.
Deluxe Estate
Our Deluxe Estate option will be the centerpiece of your backyard patio- if not the entire neighborhood. This striking addition comes with everything you need to define your outdoor living space. It also adds superior functionality by offering you a place to store your firewood and a place for guests to rest.

Seat Walls
Finish your fireplace in style and bring your patio to the next level. Adding a pair seat walls and piers (Estate) will give you extra seating. The piers act as small tables, too. Sold as a pair only.
Chimney Extensions
Sometimes the chimney that comes with your kit isn't all enough for your needs. We offer chimney extensions to increase the height of your chimney up to four additional feet.

In this video, Jake takes you step-by-step on an in-depth dive into everything you need to know to build any one of his fireplace kits. From the first course, lining the firebox with firebrick, all the way to capping the chimney- you will learn what to expect when building this project yourself.
All of Jake's kits are perfect for installers or DIYers. You don't need any special skills or tools. All the pieces you need are included with your kit. There is no cutting or mortaring the blocks. You simply stack and glue the block together.

How will my kit be shipped?
Shipping is FREE in the Contiguous US. Your order will be shipped as freight via an LTL carrier. Freight is not like standard carriers. Your order will be on pallets that weigh up to 2000 pounds each. A freight carrier will drop them CURBSIDE with a liftgate. Someone will need to be present to accept the shipment.
All shipments must be made on asphalt or concrete. We cannot deliver on gravel.

Can you deliver my pallets to my backyard?
Sorry. LTL carriers will deliver CURBSIDE only. The delivery drivers will have a pallet jack for you to move your order. Delivery drivers are not responsible for deliveries past the curb.

I live on a gravel road or a road with limited access. What are my delivery options?
If you live on a gravel road, you have a few options. Many customers will arrange delivery to a locally owned business. From there, you can pick up your pallets individually, or have them delivered by a local vendor with that capability.
You can also have your delivery made to a friend's house that meets the requirements. You will be responsible for getting your material to your site.
You can always arrange to pick up the delivery at the nearest shipping terminal. There will be a window you must pick up your pallets. After a number of days, freight yards usually charge storage fees.

Can I return my order for a refund?
Free shipping means shipping is included in the price. The cost of shipping freight is high. You may be able to return your order within 14 days of delivery. If you choose to do this, you will be responsible for paying for return shipping plus a restocking fee. Many times, you will get back less than half of your purchase price.
We do not want anyone to lose money on a purchase. Please be certain of your decision before shipping tons of material across the nation. You can cancel your order before shipment for a full refund. Special orders may incur additional fees.

How long does shipping take?
All orders are produced in the order they are received. Orders typically leave our yard in 7-10 working days. Once Your order ships, it can take an addition 5-10 working days to get to you.
You will be provided with updates on your order, as well as a tracking number once it ships. When your order lands at the final terminal, you will be contacted by dispatch to arrange a delivery time. Someone must be present for delivery.

Do you offer any discounts?
We do not inflate prices so we can offer discounts- not even for Black Friday.
Planning for and constructing a large hardscape feature such as a fireplace is no small decision. We want you to plan accordingly. You will not be penalized for ordering your materials when it fits your schedule.
The lowest price is always the one currently available. We do not want you to be upset that after you purchase your kits, we run a discount or promotion. We would not cheat anyone that way.
